I got an email that the AS400 was not up. When I checked the AS400 it had a SRC code of 1011 2564. So I did what I do when it has a SRC, I write it down and reIPL. But this time unlike others it did no start back up, it got the same SRC. So I searched the Internet and found a link to the manual to trouble shot it. It turned out to be about as bad as it gets, I have to replace most tof the parts in the expansion unit.
Exchange the following parts, one at a time.
Expansion unit PCI backplane (BACKPL5)
Cable (SIG5)
Cable (SIG1)
SPNLCRD (see “BACKPLx” on page 203 for part number)
The MFIOP backplane (see “MFIOPBK” on page 211
